Ms. Jennifer Witt

Jen_WittI’m Jennifer Witt and this is my seventh year teaching fourth grade at Tuckahoe Elementary. I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and love continuing to call Virginia my home. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech in Chemical Engineering. Go Hokies! After Virginia Tech, I received my Master’s Degree from George Mason University in Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy reading and traveling. I’ve been to all 50 states and my next traveling goal is to travel to all seven continents. I have traveled to Uganda with Ms. Arzoomanian to teach at our sister school, Matuwa Primary and we traveled through Europe to work on Smithsonian Rhine Cruises. I’ve also volunteered with GoCamp, teaching English in Ukraine. Since I wasn’t able to travel this past summer, I rescued a dog! Her name is Tuula. I’m excited for another year of learning ahead!
