My name is Shelly Strickland and this is my ninth year teaching at Tuckahoe Elementary. I taught third grade for four years, and this will be my fifth year of teaching second grade. I also taught for eleven years in a school district near Cincinnati, Ohio before taking many years off from teaching to be home with my children, Sarah and Nathan. Living here in Arlington I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking my dog Lily for walks, visiting coffee shops and reading a good book. I am blessed to be a part of the Tuckahoe family and I look forward to another exciting year of teaching second grade.
