Art

At Tuckahoe we foster talent and appreciation for art in each student and as a whole learning community through crosspollination between grade levels, core subjects, and the Discovery Garden. Our Sliders enjoy working with a wide variety of materials and techniques including painting, drawing, sculpture, and multimedia works using found objects. The project-based art curriculum celebrates historic and contemporary artists from all backgrounds and is grounded in the Virginia Visual Arts Standards of Learning.
