Impact Aid Survey Deadline Approaching

APS is eligible for federal Impact Aid grants based on the number of military and federal connected families in Arlington, which includes military families, federally connected families, and families living on military bases. The grants from these programs will become part of our general operating budget. They are critical to ensuring that students receive an excellent education.

It is critical that ALL families in APS fill out the Impact Aid form, whether they are federally connected or not. Our eligibility for the funds is based in part on community participation in the survey.

APS will open a brief survey for Federal Impact Aid in ParentVUE to identify federally connected students. The Federal Impact Aid Survey will be available for APS families to complete online until January 10, 2025. Families without ParentVUE can request a paper copy of the survey from their child’s school. Your support will help APS secure funding that we are eligible for, based on our students in families who meet those criteria.
