Information for Students in Grades 3 – 5

Prior to joining a meeting with a staff member:

  • Access the meeting through the Chrome Browser or download the free Microsoft Teams App. Do not use Safari.
  • If you open the Microsoft Teams meeting within the MS Teams application, you can see four people at a time.  If you open the meeting within the Chrome browser, you can only see the person talking.
  • The staff member will email you a link to join the meeting.  You can join as a guest and type your name. You do not need to login.
  • After you join as a guest, it will ask you to enable your camera and microphone.

Joining a Microsoft Teams Meeting

Students have the Microsoft Teams app downloaded to their APS issued iPad.  Before joining a Microsoft Teams meeting with a teacher, students must be logged into the Microsoft Teams app with their APS username and password.  Follow the directions and videos below to get started.
