Community Meal Service

APS is providing community meals to support families who may be impacted by the ongoing federal government shutdown. This effort aims to ensure that our students and families continue to have access to meals during this challenging time.

Beginning tomorrow, Nov. 6, APS will offer free hot meals for students and families at Yorktown, Washington-Liberty and Wakefield High Schools from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Families should enter through Door 13 at Yorktown, Door 1 at Washington-Liberty, and Door A2 at Wakefield. Meals will be served in the cafeteria and enjoyed on-site, allowing us to support as many households as possible. No meals will be served on Tue, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Families are encouraged to complete an optional form to help us plan responsibly; the form does not collect identifying information and is not required to attend. Learn more.
