Kindergarten

My name is Katherine Edwards and I teach Kindergarten here at Tuckahoe! This will be my 9th year of teaching. What I enjoy the most from teaching is getting to bring out the kid in me and have fun with the students. In my spare time, I enjoy going on long walks and going to Capitals games. I am very excited to get to know the Tuckahoe community and make some meaningful relationships!

Ms. Burke is excited to begin her third year as a teacher at Tuckahoe! Her favorite part of teaching is seeing her kindergarteners' excitement when they realize they have become strong readers and writers! In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She can't wait for another amazing year of Kindergarten!

Hi. I'm Mrs. Jordan and I have been teaching for 20 years. I love to read and foster the love of reading in my students. I am a competive board "gamer" and the reigning queen of Clue and Sorry in my household.

Ms. Brown is beginning her first year as a kindergarten teacher at Tuckahoe Elementary. She loves creating an engaging and interactive classroom environment and fostering a strong classroom community. Outside of school, she enjoys spontaneous adventures, traveling, music, and spending time with her friends and family. She is excited to join the Tuckahoe team and greatly values being an asset to the school community and helping to shape young minds.
